February 23, Darrell Gaskin, PhD, will discuss nonprofit hospital’s provision of charity care and how it measures up to their tax-exempt status. The Health Policy Dialogue Series collaboration between the Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis Foundation for Health and Policy (JKTG Foundation) and the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University.
Gaskin is professor of health economics and director of the Center for Health Disparities Solutions at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Known as an international expert on healthcare disparities, Gaskin serves on several Institute of Medicine committees and has been recognized for his research.
